Klovertel was incorporated in New Delhi as the official partner of Keymile AG, a spin-off of Ascom AG, Switzerland.
2002–09
Delivered end-to-end Voice Communication Systems at 39 airports—30 civil and 9 defense—covering supply, installation, and commissioning.
2015
Strategic partnership established with Duagon AG and PIFFNER AG as India partner—expanding operations into the Railways and Energy sectors.

Strengthened technical and operational capabilities with the launch of an R&D and assembly facility in New Delhi, followed by successful completion of the Indian Railways’ Capability–Cum–Capacity assessment—enabling eligibility for large-scale rail sector projects.
2024
Appointed as the India partner for Ingeteam (Spain), further strengthening Klovertel’s presence in the Energy and Rail sectors. In parallel, initiated development of Train Control and Management System (TCMS), expanded into SaaS offerings, and delivered HMI software for Vande Bharat trains.
2025
Successfully tested, installed, and commissioned the Remote Monitoring System (RMS) and Distributed Power Wireless Control System (DPWCS) onboard an Indian Railways locomotive—demonstrating high-performance capability and paving the way for scalable deployment in collaboration with Indian Railways.

Rajan Mehra is the Chairman and Founder of Klovertel Private Limited, with over four decades of leadership experience across global corporations and industrial ventures. A seasoned corporate leader, he has previously served as CEO and Managing Director of multiple Swiss companies operating in India, building deep expertise in cross-border trade, market entry strategies, and industrial diversification.
Rajan has played a pivotal role in introducing advanced European technologies into the Indian market, enabling infrastructure development across key sectors. His ability to bridge international business ecosystems has been central to shaping Klovertel’s foundational vision and long-term strategic direction.
A respected figure in the Indo-European business community, Rajan was the Founder and first President of the Swiss Business Forum in India and has served on the Board of Directors of the Swiss India Chamber of Commerce (SICC), contributing actively to strengthening bilateral commercial ties.

Karan Mehra has been the CEO and Managing Director of Klovertel Private Limited since January 2015. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its presence across technology-driven infrastructure sectors, strengthened international partnerships, and diversified its solutions portfolio within the Indian market.
Karan brings a strong global finance and strategy background, having spent over five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) across Zurich, London, Singapore, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein. During this period, he was selected for key secondments with Lehman Brothers in Zurich and UBS, where he led complex financial and strategic engagements.
His professional experience includes advising leading global institutions such as Royal Bank of Canada, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Macquarie, and LGT Group. Karan also brings private banking experience from ABN AMRO Private Bank in Singapore, along with early career stints at HSBC Private Bank and Microsoft.

Arun Nayar brings over 40 years of global leadership experience in finance, governance, and corporate strategy. He is best known for his tenure at Tyco International, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until 2016, overseeing global finance, treasury, tax, audit, risk management, and mergers & acquisitions.
Prior to Tyco, Arun held senior leadership roles at PepsiCo, Inc., including CFO of Global Operations and Vice President of Capital Markets. His earlier career includes key finance positions at ABB Ltd. and Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Arun currently serves on the Boards of Amcor PLC and Mastech Digital and has previously held board positions at GFL Environmental, Rite Aid Corporation, and Bemis Company. He is also a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company and BC Partners, bringing deep governance and strategic oversight to Klovertel.

Chirag Sethi leads Klovertel’s Rail Business as Vice President of Sales and Operations, with over 20 years of experience in heavy engineering and infrastructure sectors. He is responsible for driving railway business strategy, overseeing bids, and executing complex rail projects across India.
Before joining Klovertel, Chirag served as Business Head – Railway Traction Power at Delta Electronics, managing rolling stock propulsion systems and traction substation equipment. He also spent over 16 years at Siemens, where he held senior roles across railway rolling stock, propulsion systems, and large-scale logistics and airport infrastructure projects.
His multidisciplinary background spans engineering, operations, and commercial strategy, enabling strong execution across technically complex rail environments.

Raphael Wyder is a Senior Advisor to Klovertel, offering extensive expertise in electronics, telecommunications, and high-voltage engineering. He is currently the Managing Director of A. Eberle Schweiz AG, specializing in measurement and control technologies for the power sector.
Raphael’s career includes leadership roles at global technology firms such as Ascom and Motorola, providing him with a strong foundation in communication systems and intelligent infrastructure. He previously held senior leadership positions at PFIFFNER Instrument Transformers Ltd., where he led international high-voltage sensor projects, including the commissioning of 500 kV DC Voltage Dividers for the Ballia HVDC substation in India.
Beyond corporate leadership, Raphael is actively involved in public service and currently serves as Vice Mayor of the Municipality of Rupperswil in Switzerland.

Kalpesh Kansagara is Vice President and Head of Sales at Klovertel, combining strong technical expertise with strategic sales leadership. A communication engineering professional, he has deep domain knowledge in Train Control and Management Systems (TCMS) and plays a key role in driving growth across Rail Electronics, Aviation, Energy, and Communication sectors.
Since joining Klovertel in 2018, Kalpesh has led the expansion of onboard communication and control electronics, introduced precision weighing and balancing systems, and overseen the deployment of high-voltage substation equipment for both AC and DC applications.
Prior to Klovertel, he spent 11 years at Tata Teleservices Ltd., specializing in microwave and fiber optics transmission planning, network cost optimization, and capacity planning for large-scale telecom networks.
